Town-hall meeting on prescription-drug abuse set for Oct. 26
While illicit drug abuse began to decline in 2002, abuse of prescription drugs and over-the-counter medications continues to climb.
Join the Strong Families Great Youth Coalition and RMH Community Health for a town hall meeting on prescription and over-the-counter drug abuse at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 26 at Harrisonburg High School PE Commons.
A panel discussion and Q&A session will be led by Gregory Reynolds, RMH pharmacist; Marilyn Turner, RMH Community Health; Jennifer Johnson, RMH LIFE Recovery Program; and a Drug Task Force officer. Light refreshments will follow.
