It was a relief for fans to know that Sgt. Wu did not die in the last episode of “Grimm” titled “Good to the Bone” after almost getting eaten by a bone-sucking Wesen. However, this does not mean that he is already off the hook as far as peril is concerned.
For one, fans saw him actually turn into something non-human and it is only a matter of time before he encounters the Grimm aka Nick (David Giuntoli). Now fans of Sgt. Wu (Reggie Lee) are concerned about how his first encounter with the Grimm would turn out or if he would ever tell Nick before things go bad in Episode 19 that is titled “The Taming of the Wu.”
According to TV Line, tonight’s episode of “Grimm” will feature some fighting that ends with Wu becoming anxious that he might have done something very bad. Further, this could bring Wu’s transformation to the attention of Nick and his team.
Lee told TV Line, “That’s where it starts to play into ‘I need your help, and I don’t know what’s going on,” he continued, “When you see a guy start to tear up, you know something’s going on.”
Moreover, lest it is forgotten that Wu’s condition is not Wesen-related but something that is caused by a virus that he contracted after he was scratched by a rabid Blutbad on episode 14 titled “Lycanthropia,” as indicated in the episode recap on TV Fanatic,
Therefore, Wu may not be turning into a werewolf but rather something that seems to be a pre-human or primordial creature and the condition is “potentially permanent,” as stated by TV Line. For that Lee teases, “I love the idea of him having powers, period!”
Tonight, Sgt. Wu and the rest of his fans will witness how Nick will treat his situation on “Grimm” season five episode 19.
