‘One Punch Man’ Season 2 release dates review and the 40k-strong ‘Hero Association Members’

One punch man season 2 release date has been highly sought by anime fans. Aside from the updates on the manga, the anime series has been highly anticipated since its final season was last aired December of 2015.

There have been many speculations about the release date of OPM season 2. However, there are two main diametrically opposed concepts concerning the release dates of the beloved anime. According to sportsrageous, the first schedule of release contends that OPM season 2 will be aired in the latter part of 2016, while the other espouses a much longer period of wait even up to two years.

In a separate article, it was explained that it was delayed primarily because of two speculated factors. It was cited that the budget is a known concern and the lack of time of some of the creative staff has been mentioned as well.

Whatever the reasons  behind the lag were , it never wavered fans’ enthusiasm and inclination for Saitama and his fascinating anime world. In fact, in a most recent count, One Punch Man Reddit account has amassed 40,000 faithful white cape followers. In a brief timeline below, one could see the increase of fans, as per OPM Reddit account, despite the no show of One Punch Man season 2 for almost four months now.

December 21, 2015 /r/OnePunchMan is trending again

January 1st, 2016 We hit 30k subscribers

April 17th, 2016 We hit 40k subscribers

The ever growing popularity of One Punch Man is very evident with the continuous growth of the so-called “Hero Association Members,” 40,074-strong fans to be exact. Thus, dispelling the fear of losing audiences in this great interval of the anime series as what other anime fans are imagining.
