However, it would not be serious, but just out of respect.

According to ‘M3J’ at Manga Helpers, “Straw Hat” Monkey D. Luffy has to beat all the current Yonkos in order to freely roam in the “One Piece” world. And the fight between Luffy and “Red-Haired” Shanks was said to be inevitable.
It could also be recalled that during Luffy’s fight with Issho (Fujitora) in Dressrosa in “One Piece” chapter 798 (“Heart”), he said he got tired of running away from them because they were powerful than him. And in that short, but awesome fight, he shocked everyone when he said he will beat them all, whether the enemy is an Admiral or a Yonko.
“I will beat all of you if I have to!!! Or I’ll never be the King of the Pirates,” Luffy shouted, which made the predicted fight between Luffy and Shanks somewhat certain.
However, ‘ProGoddess’ said it was quite hard to imagine them being enemies. In fact, it was thought that Shanks might be the only Yonko who is for Luffy and “not as an antagonist.”
Meanwhile, Hall of Fame Magazine readers recently commented on a prediction for “One Piece” chapter 825 in which it talked about Trafalgar D. Water Law possibly betraying Luffy.
According to ‘Arsam,’ Law fighting Luffy might not be possible because he owed Luffy “a huge deal” after the latter defeated “Heavenly Yaksha” Donquixote Doflamingo in Dressrosa.
In fact, it could also be possible that Law would sacrifice his life for Luffy through his powerful technique. ‘xostrowx1991’ also thought of the same thing and that he might “perform the operation to heal Luffy’s damaged body (in effect of using the Gomu Gomu fruit) and give him a new life.”
It could not be denied that seeing Luffy fight both Law and Shanks to death is hard, but who knows what Eiichiro Oda is planning right now.
For the meantime, please take these “One Piece” chapter 825 predictions with a pinch of salt.
