Djokovic into eighth Wimbledon semifinal

Novak Djokovic claims he was treated unfairly by chair umpire Carlos Ramos during his quarter-final win over Kei Nishikori to book his spot in the final four at Wimbledon. The level of tennis has been going up in the past couple of months and tournaments. "Coming into Wimbledon I already felt more comfortable and didn't need time to settle in".

After seeing off big servers Kyle Edmund and Karen Khachanov, he faced Nishikori, who had recovered from his own serious injury to hit peak form in reaching his first Wimbledon quarter-final. But Federer went toe to toe with his buoyant opponent in an epic fifth-set tussle until with the score 11-11 Anderson pounced.

"I think the first warning was unnecessary", said Djokovic, who was sanctioned in the second set for spearing his racquet into the court. "I think the fact that you have Wimbledon around the corner (after the French Open) helps because you don't have time really to feel sorry about yourself". Early on he was bothered by the glare off the sun, adjusting his serve and then sporting a cap.

Sacha Baron Cohen Continues to Troll Sarah Palin
Palin said she is speaking out about her experience now because she feels it is "important" to "let people know what's coming". As expected, many, including Walsh, Moore and Palin, are not happy after finding out that they had been tricked by Cohen.

"(Nishikori) even threw the racquet in the fourth set.

"It took me two or three months and that was frustrating that I wasn't able to perform the game that I was used to and the level of tennis I wanted to play". His latest foray into the final four of Wimbledon is just another addition to his now 32 Grand Slam semifinal appearances, now second on the list behind Roger Federer.

That period saw an early Djokovic break immediately cancelled out before the Serbian struck again at 4-3, thanks in part to a stunning forehand on the run, and he served the first set out. "Nishikori did the same in the fourth set and he didn't get a warning". Nadal, who's won two of his 17 Grand Slam titles at Wimbledon, edged 2009 U.S. Open champion Juan Martin del Potro 7-5, 6-7 (7), 4-6, 6-4, 6-4 in a wildly entertaining match that featured diving shots by both and lasted 4 hours, 48 minutes. "I like my chances against Nishikori", said Djokovic.

Anderson held for 5-all, broke to 6-5 with a violent return victor off a 97 miles per hour second serve, then staved off three break points and closed the set with a 133 miles per hour ace. The two began dating long before Djokovic became a household name, and got married in Montenegro in 2014 right after he won Wimbledon.

Federer had a match point at 5-4 in the third set, but struck a backhand into the net before the eighth-seeded Anderson broke in the following game and held serve.

"I want to use today's result as a spring from which to aim for a final place".
