The US President, according to the White House, has interviewed seven candidates from his master list of 25 judges.

While Trump's decisions and favorability with potential nominees can change at a moment's notice, the selection is coming down to the wire as the president prepares to announce his pick on Monday night. IL law protects it. Trump conducted interviews on Monday and Tuesday and has spoken to seven possible candidates.

Trump has said he will announce his nominee to replace Justice Anthony Kennedy, who is retiring, by tomorrow evening, before departing for Europe. Trump adds that he thinks "they're all outstanding".

Barret clerked for late Supreme Court Justice Scalia, a constitutional conservative. Because she was just confirmed, we know that constitutionalists and conservatives backed her; we know the Senate leadership fought for her confirmation with press conferences, floor speeches, and the final vote. "I have it down to four people, and I think, of the four people, I have it down to three or two", he told reporters.

Daniel Cormier vs. Brock Lesnar fight won’t happen until at least January
Pettis (21-7) staggered his larger opponent with a right hand before winning for just the third time in eight fights since 2014. He may have won the fights, but I hold the cards. "He's going to pop up on the board here soon on Monday or Tuesday".

As with with Neil Gorsuch, the justice appointed to replace the late Antonin Scalia past year, Trump's top candidates are selected from a list of conservative justices first drafted during the 2016 election.

The US President has chosen prime time to make the announcement. Citing a White House official, Axios reported that the person that Trump ultimately picks will be "who he feels most comfortable with in a personal setting".

Hardiman, by the way, was said to be Trump's second choice when he nominated Neal Gorsuch.

"I'll have a decision made in my mind by Sunday", the president also said.

Some conservatives have pointed to Kethledge as a potential justice in the mold of Gorsuch. If the present Senate is unwilling to confirm the best nominee, then the seat can remain vacant during the election, and the people will elect a Senate who will confirm the best nominee.

President Donald Trump to meet with Queen Elizabeth II but avoid protesters
On Friday evening, the President and the First Lady will travel to Scotland where they will spend the weekend. A spokeswoman for May said the British people were looking forward to his visit.

Kavanaugh previously served as a law clerk for Kennedy, an independent counsel in the Whitewater investigation, and as senior associate counsel and assistant to the president in the Bush administration.

Appointing a justice to the Supreme Court is something most American presidents are lucky enough to do once or twice in an entire presidency.

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), a Trump ally, signed a statement Thursday with other conservative leaders pushing for Lee, after days of phone calls with Trump and others over his concerns about Kavanaugh. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., questioned Barrett about whether her Catholic faith might color her work on the bench.

"We had to replace three local actors, including one who was to play Norma McCorvey (Jane Roe), even after she begged for the role". Like Donnelly, she also met with Trump after Kennedy's retirement, where they discussed the court vacancy, which was right after Trump railed against her during a rally in North Dakota with her challenger, Rep. Kevin Cramer.
