Trump Lawyer Michael Cohen Hints He May Cooperate With Federal Prosecutors

Porn star Stormy Daniels was supposed to meet with prosecutors last Monday in reference to the investigation into Cohen but the meeting was abruptly cancelled

Michael Cohen: "My Silence is Broken"

The man who once vowed to "take a bullet" if necessary to protect his most famous client told ABC's George Stephanopoulos that his priorities have changed - and that "my wife, my daughter and my son, and this country have my first loyalty". He also retained a new lawyer, Guy Petrillo, a former chief of the criminal division of the USA attorney's office in Manhattan.

The consensus seems to be that Cohen is in fact planning to cooperate with the NY prosecutors investigating his business dealings, or that he is angling for a presidential pardon by signaling to his former boss that his allegiance is conditional. The views expressed in this commentary are her own. I don't want him to shut up, but I'll reserve judgment until he puts up. The payment was flagged by Cohen's bank in a suspicious activity report at the time.

It's not clear whether Cohen has information that could help Mueller's investigation on possible collusion with Russian Federation and obstruction of justice.

As a vice-president in the Trump Organization who worked closely with Trump for a decade, Cohen was entrusted with delicate tasks including promoting real estate deals in Russian Federation and coordinating payoffs for women who claimed to have had affairs with Trump.

Last fall in an interview with Vanity Fair, he said: "I'm the guy who stops the leaks".

Dutchman wins Aston Martin Red Bull Racing Home Race
The Dutchman secured the team's third victory of the season and the first for Red Bull at their home race at the Red Bull Ring . The Aussie knows that at some point he will need to take fresh parts.

Mr Cohen initially said he used his own money to pay Ms Daniels and was not reimbursed by Mr Trump.

He added: "I put family and country first".

Cohen is under criminal investigation in the Southern District of NY for alleged bank fraud and campaign finance violations. And while there was nothing extraordinary said, there were some bombshell comments which appear to indicate the direction he will likely go, in terms of his cooperation with investigators. I thanked them for their service and as they left.

I think I'll believe that Michael Cohen can do some real damage to the president* when he does some real damage to the president*.

Cohen also refused to criticize the Mueller probe, which Trump has repeatedly labeled a "with hunt".

Netflix may add an even more expensive 'Ultra' streaming tier
When subscribing to the €16.99 tier, those Ultra subscribers would also be able to watch Netflix on four screens simultaneously. Aside from HDR support that would of course require compatible hardware, there are no other new features in the Ultra plan.

Mueller's team has not yet interviewed Cohen, but he said he has provided the team with documents and said he'll fully cooperate, noting he testified before House and Senate committees investigating Russian involvement with the 2016 election.

"Under these circumstances, the Fifth Amendment protection that he cannot "be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself" means that he could not be forced to testify about anything", Epner said. "One day I will answer", Cohen told Stephanopoulos on Saturday. "But I can't comment now on the advice of my counsel", he said.

Of course, Donald Trump knows the answer to this, so there is little other reason for Cohen to dangle this in a public setting.

According to Stephanopoulos, Mr Cohen also repeated his previous denials of personal involvement with Russian attempts to interfere in the U.S. election.

And while he admits he's made mistakes in the past - what those mistakes are was not disclosed - Cohen says he is working to regain his reputation. "I respect our nation's intelligence agencies'. unanimous conclusions", he said, stopping short, however, of siding with those who accuse Moscow of meddling.
