DeAndre Jordan Opts Out of Deal with Los Angeles Clippers

Dallas Mavericks Working On DeAndre Jordan Trade: Report

Report: DeAndre Jordan opts out of deal with Clippers

The Dallas Mavericks are making another run at DeAndre Jordan, three years after the center jilted them in free agency to stay with the Los Angeles Clippers.

Jordan's salary with the Mavericks will approach the $24.1 million that he would have earned with the Clippers had he exercised his option, according to the report.

Dirk Nowitzki, 40, accepted a deal below the standard of most other stars even on the twilight of their careers in 2017, when he signed a one-year deal worth $5 million with a club option for the second year.

Well, Griffin and Jordan have both left the Clips, and the chair.just magically disappeared.

Croatia v Denmark 01 July 2018
Denmark , which is set to take on Croatia Sunday, suffered its last defeat against Montenegro in 2016 in the World Cup qualifiers. But the Croatians were in no mood to let Denmark enjoy the unprecedented lead for very long as they too found the net soon after.

All signs are pointing toward Jordan being a Maverick next season, but as we have seen, literally anything is possible.

The 6-foot-11 veteran became a free agent as of 12:01 p.m. ET on Sunday.

The one-year deal gives both sides flexibility beyond next season, but is a sign that the Mavericks are exhausted of rebuilding after consecutive losing seasons for the first time in almost 20 years. The Clippers traded Blake Griffin to the Detroit Pistons last winter and Chris Paul to the Houston Rockets last summer.

Mark Cuban finally got his man. And when news broke around midnight Saturday that Jordan will (hopefully) sign with Dallas, Twitter did not disappoint.

FPJ's dream XI predictions for Spain vs Russian Federation
The Spanish players are incensed that they haven't been awarded a penalty kick for what they perceived to be a foul in the box. Spain are yet to hit their groove and take on the hosts at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow for a place in the quarter-finals.

Jordan averaged 12 points and.9 blocks while setting a new career high in rebounds (15.2) per game.

Jordan's field goal percentage dipped below 70 per cent for the first time in three seasons a year ago, but part of that could be due to the departure of point guard Chris Paul.

His arrival would be an odd twist for Dallas fans, who booed him steadfastly in each of his five trips to Dallas after that summertime saga.

Nowitzki could be entering his final National Basketball Association season.
