PlayStation Hits re-releases top PS4 games on the cheap

Sony has had so many great titles released on the PlayStation 4 since its release in 2013, now the company is bringing users incredible sales via PlayStation Hits.

At this precise moment in time it doesn't matter what Sony has done in the past with its console, or games, right now all people care about is why they can't play Fortnite on Switch if they have a PS4 account. In stores, PlayStation Hits games will come in red packaging instead of the usual blue box so you can easily find them. We're introducing PlayStation Hits, a selection of incredible PS4 games that are easy on the wallet.

The list includes older games like The Last of Us Remastered and Infamous: Second Son - which we already see going for that price in most stores - but it also includes Doom, Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, and Yakuza 0, to name a few.

The program will kick off on June 28 here in the USA and around the same time in Canada - although a post on Sony's PlayStation Blog mentions that there might be some variation between the U.S. and Canadian PlayStation Hits titles.

Absent from their statement was a reason for their decision to not play nice with its console brethren, but former Sony Online Entertainment president John Smedley offered some insight into the company's decision.
