Oppo may hit the ground running when it comes to the US

Oppo Find X the next to kill Apple’s notch

OPPO’s Find X brings an all-screen front and pop-up cameras, coming to India on July 12th

The company will also be launching the flagship phone with a mobile carrier, giving the possibility that the OPPO Find X will be much cheaper to get in the U.S. market. Oppo Find X facial recognition uses 15,000 dots to map a face which is further supported by flood illuminator, IR camera, proximity sensor, a dot projector and of course the front-facing camera.

But overall, we think the Find X is a seriously attractive piece of hardware, especially with its notch-less, (nearly) bezel-less display that extends practically over the entire front side.

The first thing you'll notice about Find X is that it sports a unique motorized pop-up mechanism that reveals both the front and rear-facing cameras when open.

In the software department, the Find X boots ColorOS 5.1 based on Android 8.1 Oreo.

Phil Mickelson loses mind, plays putt before it stops rolling
But now he is 48 and his US Open legacy will be highlighted by a premeditated rules infraction at the grandest course in America. That's a move you don't see amateurs do in practice rounds, and Phil did it not only in competition, but in the U.S.

Android phone makers have followed suit and several smartphones have launched with display notches, with more expected to come - even the Pixel 3.

The phone will also have 512 MB of storage, a carbon-fiber texture underneath the glass on the back of the device, and will be engraved with the Lamborghini logo.

If that wasn't enough, OPPO also had time to create a limited, more premium edition called the Find X Lamborghini Edition - with design cues and branding coming from the luxury sports auto manufacturer, no doubt. The Find X is going on sale in China from today, and should make its way to other Asian markets shortly.

Anyi Jiang, vice president at Oppo said that the company's camera phones are now used by 200 million people globally in over 30 countries.

Rescue boat Aquarius finally docks in Valencia

Oppo is also launching their version of Apple's Animoji, with the OPPO Omoji. Under the hood of the smartphone runs Qualcomm's Snapdragon 845 processor paired with 8GB of RAM. The front camera is 25-megapixel, for taking selfies. The launch event worked as a seal of confirmation for all the leaked specs that were ultimately proven right.

Still, the Oppo Find X is definitely among the most interesting smartphones of 2018.

OPPO already has experience in the field of rotating cameras so there should be no issues with the durability of the sliding system though it should be noted that since this is a moving part, it will wear down eventually. The phone is powered by a 3,730mAh battery which of course supports their VOOC fast charging.

The Oppo Find X Lamborghini Edition is a much premium offering, launched with a much higher price tag of 1,699 Euros (approximately Rs 1,33,000). There is also a Find X Automobili Lamborghini Edition Smartphone with Super VOOC flash charge technology.
