'How Dare You!': Corey Lewandowski Mocks Girl with Down Syndrome Who was 'Caged' by Border Agents

"Womp womp", President Donald Trump's former campaign manager said, a dismissive trombone-like sound effect. "Unfortunately, it's clear that his attitude is representative of the sociopaths who choose to work at this White House and of those who make a living defending its immoral agenda". That stuff is sufficiently tawdry.

And yet Fox News wanted to hear more from this fellow.

Wednesday morning, despite the video evidence, Lewandowski tweeted that reports he mocked the girl's plight was "fake news".

Meghan Markle wears Givenchy for her first Royal Ascot outing
The ultra-modern frock featured an edgy asymmetrical hemline - a stark contrast to the sea of pastel-coloured dresses on show. She also chose to hold her name tag rather than wear it, as Kate Middleton had worn during her Royal Ascot debut in 2016.

To kick off the interview, Smith went with this question: "Corey, dealing with children is a very sensitive and obviously very highly charged subject".

Lewandowski, who was briefly a CNN commentator after he was sacked from the Trump campaign, said no one wants to see parents separated from their children, but placed the blame on the parents for entering the country illegally. That has never changed. The president has doubled down on his stance, maintaining the policy while falsely spewing blame at congressional Democrats. But they've chosen not to do that. "I know you, you're a parent".

Lewandowski argued, "when you cross the border illegally, you have given up the rights of this country".

Lewandowsi responded that this was on the parents for coming here, and on Congress for not changing the laws.

US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) confirmed that it separated a child with Down's syndrome from her mother earlier this month. The American people owe an apology to those people. "Of migrant children that are so young they're finding a separate place for them because of the influx of children being separated from their parents at the border".

There's so much here.

This was also down from 890,000 in 2015, at the peak of the migrant crisis. Trump said German Chancellor Angela Merkel's coalition looked "tenuous".

Anna Kendrick was short with her response, calling Lewandowski a "piece of sh*t" and Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn said, "This is who Trump has sticking up for him, and how". Second, the insouciance: Trump, after all, is the one politicizing children, using this madness to press for immigration legislation.
