Scattered showers and storms remain possible both Monday and Tuesday, but right now those storms do not look like they will be as strong as the ones this weekend. Rounds of showers and storms keep pushing from west to east across our part of the world.

Expect rain, and even possible thunderstorms with some downpours for the morning commute Wednesday morning. Afternoon highs climb to the upper 80s to around 90 in spots. Temperatures will warm heading into the work week and more rain chances towards the end of the upcoming week. No, not a movie, it's very real and we'll start to feel the heat and higher humidity readings over the next few days as highs will be in the lower 90s. In addition to the local severe potential, these storms are major rain producers. There is the chance of a few showers and storms to fire up along a cold front that will sweep through during the afternoon and evening.
