"After they took him into custody, he shouted at the deputies".

According to the Sheriff's Office, 25-year-old John T. Greenwood arrived at the airport clothed, then went into a women's bathroom that was under construction and stripped.

The nude man didn't immediately respond to commands, so a deputy used a Taser on him. That's when he told them he planted a bomb somewhere in the airport.

Greenwood created or enlarged a hole in the bathroom wall and placed his belongings inside, Chitwood said. Airport officials confirmed that the suspect had indeed stuffed something into the wall, and contacted the police and bomb squads.

He credits those plans for evacuating people out of the airport on Friday morning.

After being transferred to Halifax Health, Greenwood told deputies he had ingested drugs, including ecstasy. Eventually, during a confrontation, the deputies had a taser.

The sheriff says Greenwood had taken drugs the night before and had no priors. "I was about 10 minutes from boarding when they told us to evacuate".

The evacuation caused some delays, but no flights were canceled as a result, according to an airport spokesperson.

The man faces charges of burglary, false report concerning a bomb, criminal mischief, resisting arrest without violence, exposure of sexual organs and unlawful posession of someone else's identificaiton.

It was said that he was taken into custody at least twice before, under the state's Baker Act for mental evaluations.
