Geese are terrifying. Everyone knows this. During a recent matchup against Madison, one of the team's unidentified players was attacked by a goose.

The unbelievable moment a goose attacked a young golfer in the U.S. has been perfectly captured in a series of photos going viral around the world. As the website reports, it happened shortly after Concord High School's Isaac Couling left the tee box on hole No. 7.

According to Click On Detroit, that actually happened to a high school golfer in MI over the weekend.

The display started around 1 a.m. when an unidentified man was on the bridge and threatening to jump onto Interstate 696. As officers routed traffic away, they directed truckers to drive into positions to shorten the fall if the man jumped.

While Couling was walking down the seventh hole fairway Saturday, he was met by an aggressive goose.

Geese are territorial birds, and have been known to attack humans if they get too close.

Then came a rather alarming escalation.

As Couling attempted to flee the chaos he tripped, allowing the goose a clear coup de grâce.

The athletics department said on Twitter that the only thing hurt is "his pride". She captured the entire sequence of events in a series of photographs, which went viral on Twitter.

"You can say [she] was at the right place at the right time", Babbitt said. "Yeah, but no one came to help", Couling told the Detroit News with a laugh.
