Twitter outages reported in parts of US, UK

Anyone trying to access Twitter Tuesday morning might run into an error message. The micro-blogging site gained instant popularity with its monthly users peaking to as high as 150 million within the next five years.

The social network's troubles come just a day after its share prices sky rocketed in the wake of an announcement from Morgan Stanley that it raised its rating for Twitter shares to equal weight from underweight, suggesting increased ad sales through the rest of the year.
