Vincent Kompany's thoughts are already on next season's Premier League title defence

Manchester City were crowned Premier League champions this afternoon due to local rivals Manchester United losing to West Bromwich Albion at Old Trafford.

Vincent Kompany delivered an emotionally charged speech to Manchester City fans and players after the club's title triumph.

"I have learnt from him", the Belgian centre-back told Sky Sports.

Word quickly got around through social media and City fans queued outside a venue still advertising United's televised clash with the Baggies in a bid to join fellow supporters inside, where the players were seen belting out Oasis' Wonderwall and being serenaded by supporters expressing their delight and gratitude.
