Philadelphia Eagles' 2018 free agency: Corey Nelson adds to options at linebacker

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the defending Super Bowl 52 champs have re-signed linebacker Nigel Bradham to a five-year, $40 million deal.

With that being said, another reason why Philadelphia has been so busy with these moves to make salary cap room was so they would be in better position to sign current players to new deals, which is where Nigel Bradham comes into play.

Bradham stepped in for the injured Jordan Hicks last season and quickly became a leader on defense, calling the plays and stabilizing the middle of the field.

They also agreed to add free agent linebacker in Corey Nelson ($2.25 million for one year) and defensive tackle Haloti Ngata (yet unknown terms for a one-year deal) helped bolster their already stout defense.
