Suicide blast claims six lives in Raiwind, leaves 20 injured

At least one person was killed and 20 others injured including several policemen on Wednesday evening in a blast in Pakistan's eastern city of Lahore, local media and police said.

Initial reports suggested, a motorbike was used in the blast, he said, adding that it could have been the act of a suicide bomber. Police said they are investigating. The casualties include policemen.

Inspector General Police Punjab Arif Nawaz confirmed that the blast was a suicide attack carried out by a teenaged boy who blew himself up near the checkpost.
