Police said a woman came forward last month to report she had been raped by Denver Broncos defensive end Adam Gotsis in 2013.

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the charge stems from an incident that took place on March 9, 2013 while Gotsis was enrolled at Georgia Tech. According to Fulton County jail records, he was released later that day after he posted a $50,000 bond.

The alleged victim did not file a report until February 1, 2018.

The Broncos issued a statement to The Post in which the organization says it learned of Gotsis' arrest on March 7 and "promptly reported to the National Football League as soon as" it learned about the situation.

Gotsis was the Broncos second-round pick in the 2016 draft.
