Sorry to Bother You Trailer: Lakeith Stanfield Leads the Bizarre Comedy

Even in an alternate version of present day, it's tough to make a living.

Annapurna Pictures has released the first trailer for the upcoming Sorry to Bother You, a new comedy starring Lakeith Stanfield (Get Out, Atlanta) and Tessa Thompson (Annihilation, Thor: Ragnarok).

Stanfield plays Cassius Green, a broke telemarketer in Oakland who "discovers a magical key to professional success, propelling him into a macabre universe".

Southwest flight from Phoenix diverts to Albuquerque due to smoke in cabin
Two people are in the hospital after a flight headed for Dallas made an emergency landing in Albuquerque. An initial investigation indicated an electrical fire on board, according to an airport spokesperson.

The movie premiered at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year, and Entertainment Weekly called it "the most outlandishly surreal, straight-up WTF movie at this year's festival, hands down".

Sorry to Bother You also stars Terry Crews, Omari Hardwick, Patton Oswalt, David Cross, Danny Glover, Marcella Bragio, Tom Woodruff Jr., Kate Berlant, Jermaine Fowler, Robert Longstreet, and Teresa Navarro.

Sorry To Bother You is the directorial debut of rapper and producer Boots Riley.

Yankees agree to deal with Neil Walker
After finishing one win away from the World Series last season, the Yankees appear to be all-in on another run in 2018. In 38 games for the Brewers, who were in the mix for a playoff spot, Walker hit.267 with four home runs and 13 RBI.

Sorry To Bother You comes to theaters July 6th, are you going to check it out?

Once you watch it, you'll see why too - as well as what looks to be a genuinely absurd plot about rising too high in the fast-paced world of telemarketing, the film also has a attractive constellation of stars involved.
