With Daniel Craig already on board to return as 007, MGM and Eon are looking to hire a director for the next installment of the James Bond franchise.
According to reports, Boyle is at the top of the list of possible directors, especially since Sam Mendes, who directed the last few films of the "James Bond" franchise has resolutely walked away from the position. This includes Denis Villeneuve, David Mackenzie, Christopher Nolan, and Yann Demange.
Wenger: Pep wanted to play for Arsenal
He added: "Atletico and Arsenal are the favourites, for me this is the final in Lyon". It is still very close to the pitch, maybe only Liverpool has a similar atmosphere.
Spectre (2015) was the last release in the series and debuted to lukewarm reviews. Franchise star Daniel Craig became the primary enigma, however, as he remained noncommittal to returning to the role for almost two years after Spectre hit theaters. The report also states that no formal offer has been made to the filmmaker just yet, and that Boyle had been hoping to helm a project for Working Title, a subsidiary production company for Universal Pictures. Boyle has also expressed interest in the past of directing a Bond film, but he is now attached to a project for Working Title, though Variety notes that since it has no cast yet it could always be pushed back to accommodate Bond 25.
Daniel Craig is back as Bond (having been given a hefty pay cheque, we'd imagine), but the question of who will be directing him in the iconic superspy's 25th outing remains a mystery.
Toymaker Mattel has revealed a new Lara Croft Barbie doll
The franchise will focus on the adventurous side of Lara Croft over the sexy and seductive side once seen by Angelina Jolie . It is directed by Roar Uthaug . " I also grew up in a time when there was none of my girlfriends who played video games ".
Boyle has a long and impressive resume to show off his talents as a director. He's since gone on to helm a number of successful films, including 28 Days Later, Sunshine, and 127 Hours.
Bond 25 is now slated to open in theaters on November 8, 2019. He even won an Oscar in the "Best Director" category for Slumdog Millionaire (2008).
