The Nokia 7, on the other hand, sports a 16:9 display with the fingerprint sensor at the back and it's pretty obvious that a 18:9 display will force the fingerprint scanner to be moved to the back. As the main event draws closer, more details of what HMD is planning have just popped up, giving us an early look at the Nokia 1 and Nokia 7 Plus, two phones that will be accompanying the Nokia 6 2018 at the event. In terms of hardware, the smartphone is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB onboard storage. This isn't that all too surprising considering previous Nokia Android phones have had Zeiss camera lenses, but it's still significant that the company is involved in bringing better camera performance for mid-range Nokia Android phones.
HMD Global has been doing quite well in selling Nokia Android phones and the company is showing no signs of stopping. Nokia 7 Plus will be an upgraded version of Nokia 7, which was unveiled in China in October 2017.
Winter Olympics 2018: Svindal claims downhill gold
It was a disappointing Olympics all around in 2014 for Svindal after taking a gold and two silver medals in Vancouver. Four years ago in Sochi, Aksel Lund Svindal failed to reach a single podium in the men's Alpine skiing events.
Reports are still the divided on which phone do the images show, Nokia 9 or Nokia 7 Plus. The volume rocker and power button are placed on the right edge of the device.
From the leaked render we can see the Nokia 1 isn't going to get shortlisted for its looks. It is said to be a low-end handset, so we can't expect much on specification front. The biggest upgrades on the Nokia 7 Plus will be on the camera front as the new phone will sport dual cameras, a combination of 12MP and 13MP shooters at the back with support for 2x zoom. Android One devices run an unmodified version of Google's mobile OS, meaning less bloatware and (hopefully) more frequent software updates.
