New Arizona Cardinals coach Steve Wilks has filled out his coaching staff with the hiring of 11 assistants.
Cardinals head coach Steve Wilks told the Doug & Wolf Show on 98.7 FM that Fitzgerald informed him he will return to the team next season.
The 11-time Pro Bowler will enter the 2018 season as the NFL's active leader in catches (1,234), receiving yards (15,545), and is second behind Antonio Gates in touchdown receptions (110). But with coach Bruce Arians and quarterback Carson Palmer retiring this offseason, it was unclear whether Fitzgerald would be back as the club braces for a complete reboot on offense.

Speaking to The Mirror , the Lambert said: I only heard about the story this morning and that Jack had quashed the rumours.
"I'm excited about what the future holds", he said.
Fitzgerald had 109 catches for 1,156 yards and six touchdowns in 2017, becoming the oldest player in National Football League history to have more than 100 catches and 1,000 yards in the same season.
