Det. Sgt. Hank Idsinga said investigators will likely return in the spring to excavate other areas of the residence once the ground thaws.
"We finished what we needed to do in the area of the backyard that we were interested in", Idsinga told the Post.
Idsinga confirmed more planters were removed from the property Tuesday "out of an abundance of caution".
