Tom Hardy's Rap Mixtape from 1999 Has Surfaced on the Internet

When playing a character in a film, actor Tom Hardy often speaks in a sort of weird, garbled voice.

The actor, who has previously admitted to having a long lost rap career, has us loving him that bit more as his 1999 mixtape resurfaced - and fans are losing it. Back in 2011, Hardy admitted to BBC Newsbeat that he actually had a record deal, saying: "I used to be with the guy who managed Leela James and Lauryn Hill, Pras, the Fugees and all that".

Hardy, going by the name Tommy No 1, put the tape out with his co-collaborator Eddie Too Tall, otherwise known as writer/director Edward Tracy.

Dubbed "Falling on Your Arse in 1999", the album is 18 tracks of the kind of juicy hip-hop freshness you'd totally expect to hear from two kids recording an album "in a bedroom" at the turn of the century. I've recorded loads of stuff but it's never been released'.
