"The book is best understood as a work of very poorly written fiction, and I also will say that the author is a garbage author of a garbage book", Miller said on CNN's "State of the Union".
After a few more exchanges like this, Tapper made a decision to cut Miller off for good.
The two talked over and past each other before Tapper cut off the interview, stating he has "wasted enough of my viewers' time".
