Linebacker Reuben Foster, a 49ers' first-round pick in last April's draft, was arrested Friday in Alabama on marijuana possession charges.
Foster, now a member of the San Francisco 49ers, remained in jail on $2,500 bond as of 10 p.m.

A statement from the 49ers Friday night said: "The San Francisco 49ers organization is aware of the matter involving Reuben Foster and we are now gathering all relevant facts".
