Greenland sharks grow at a rate of about 1 centimeter per year, which allowed scientists to estimate a particular shark's age. The ancient shark weighs more than one ton and dwells in -1C to 10C waters and can swim up to 7,200 ft deep into the waters.
On Christmas morning one service will be held in the chapel at 10 a.m., followed by fellowship/coffee hour.
At 6 p.m. and at 8 p.m., Sunday evening December 24, traditional Christmas Eve worship services are at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.in the sanctuary.
Following the short service, lunch will be provided in the church hall (directly behind the church), served by members of First Lutheran Church.
