THE cold snap is set to continue across the country this morning with weather experts warning that icy conditions may disrupt travel and forecasting snow for the west of Scotland.
It's expected to remain cold in the north east of Scotland where the temperature could drop to -2 before rising to just above freezing in the afternoon.
Temperatures today will still be below average for the time of year - 3C (37F) in Edinburgh, 5C (41F) in London and 6C (43F) in Cardiff - but there will be a fair bit of sunshine in eastern and central England.
