The first 'Alita: Battle Angel' trailer is a real eyeful

If you have been keeping up with the journey of Alita: Battle Angel, you know it has taken awhile to reach fans. Cameron is producing alongside Jon Landau with Robert Rodriguez directing.

On a reported $200 million budget, and based on the Graphic Novel (or Manga) Series: "Gunnm" By Yukito Kishiro, Alita is the decade-plus brainchild of Cameron, who is now preparing multiple Avatar sequels.

Peru skipper Paolo Guerrero banned for one year after failing drugs test
For a start Guerrero is Peru's all-time top goalscorer with 32 goals in 86 global appearances. His ban applies to all worldwide , domestic and official friendly fixtures.

As we all know, Cameron opted to make the former, Avatar, which became the highest-grossing movie of all time. Or at least I hope.

The film is directed by Rodriguez (Sin City) with a screenplay by Cameron, Rodriguez and Laeta Kalogridis.

Tillerson to meet Lebanon's Hariri in Paris on Friday
Hariri said the fragile stability in his country "appeared like a small miracle" given the wars in Syria, Iraq and Yemen. After brief opening statements to the media, the dignitaries retreated to an ornate, gold-trimmed room for discussions.

Fox will release Alita: Battle Angel on July 20 in regular, 3D and IMAX theaters.

But also, this movie looks nuts-not just in terms of what Director Robert Rodriguez and Writer James Cameron are trying to pull off visually, but the cast alone: Rose Salazar in the title role, Mahershala Ali, Jennifer Connelly, Michelle Rodriguez, Christoph Waltz ... and that's just a start. It follows the story of an abandoned cyborg who is brought back to life by a "cyborg-doctor" (future jobs sound awesome!), but with a blank slate for who or what she is or was. Everything is new to Alita, every experience a first. As she learns to navigate her new life and the treacherous streets of Iron City, Ido tries to shield Alita from her mysterious past while her street-smart new friend, Hugo (Keean Johnson), offers instead to help trigger her memories. A growing affection develops between the two until deadly forces come after Alita and threaten her newfound relationships.

In a statement from NBC management read out on Thursday's Today Show , the company rebuffed these claims. Alspaugh, who claims to be "very friendly" with Lauer, also reached out to her ex since the story broke.
