Overwatch's Winter Wonderland Event Returns Next Week

Overwatch Winter Wonderland event is back with an exciting game mode

Overwatch's Winter Wonderland event returns December 12

It's that time of year: Overwatch's seasonal event for the holidays, Winter Wonderland, returns December 12 on PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One, developer Blizzard Entertainment announced today. We'll probably hear (and see) more of those skins over the weekend, so sit tight for that. Mei's Yeti Hunt is Blizzard's idea of an Overwatch boss fight, Kaplan says. This new mode will pit five Mei players against a single overpowered Winston (no doubt sporting his Yeti skin). There'll be new and returning holiday themed character skins, for instance, with Overwatch director Jeff Kaplan teasing new Legendary skins for "two of our favourite junkers" (Junkrat and Roadhog, surely) in Blizzard's announcement video.

Tania Ruiz, 24, is a Dreamer who came to this country when she was 5 years old with her mother, father and three sisters. But many dreamers said that may be too late because their DACA applications expire at the end of the year.

Obviously, there will be new Legendary skins available, but the team won't reveal them all - that would ruin the surprise. However, the Black Forest map will also be decked up for the holiday season as well. Essentially, it boils down to 5 Mei players taking on resident big lad Winston, who also happens to be player controlled. While the Meis look for Winston, he is looking for power-ups to fuel his Primal Rage super. The familiar 6v6 "Mei's Snowball Offensive" will return (also playable on the Black Forest map), but it will be joined by the brand-new "Mei's Yeti Hunt". If Winston dies, the Meis win; if enough of the Meis die, Winston wins.

"I know a lot of you are thinking it sounds kind of ridiculous and kind of silly, and I'm here to tell you it absolutely is", Kaplan said.

Facebook App For iPhone Aimed At Catering to Child Users
Facebook has announced that the app will be coming to the Amazon App Store and the Google Play Store in the coming months. However, the parent's approval is needed before their names can actually appear on the authorized contact list.

When the Winter Wonderland event is over, it will take Mei's Yeti Hunt with it. "But the point of some of these seasonal brawls is just to be fun and light and refreshing for a short period of time".
