Camila Cabello Drops New Tracks 'Never Be the Same' + 'Real Friends'

Camila has been making waves as a solo artist, scoring a huge success with her latest single "Havana," winning awards herself and gearing up for the upcoming release of her album Camila on January 12, 2018. While she was on stage at a show in Portland, OR, she told the crowd that the Frank Dukes-produced track is about "finding someone you really love and being forever changed by that person".

Describing the album as "the soundtrack to the past year of my life", she revealed that her self-titled offering will be released on January 12. Camila showcases her breathy vocals as she sings that someone's love is "just like nicotine, heroin, morphine, suddenly I'm a fiend and you're all I need".

Camila also admitted that in the immediate aftermath of leaving Fifth Harmony, she felt under pressure to deliver a hit record.
