Lindsey Vonn happy to represent US at Olympics, but 'not the president'

Targeting Olympic gold at February's Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, Vonn is in St. Moritz, Switzerland, where she spoke passionately about what it means to compete for the United States ski team.

The 33-year-old Vonn is getting ready for the final act of a long and illustrious career.

Vonn, the gold medal victor from the downhill ski event at the Vancouver Games in 2010, told CNN's Alpine Edge that "a lot of people" in the current USA government are not representing the country's people well.

In the same week that saw Russian Federation banned from competing in the 2018 Winter Olympics, the issue of whether or not the United States will send its top athletes to compete for gold is supposedly up in the air.
