Dead and Company postpone Thursday's Orlando concert after John Mayer's emergency appendectomy

John Mayer is reportedly recovering from the emergency appendectomy and according to Dead & Company's social media update "is in good spirits".

"Thank you everyone for the well wishes", Mayer shared on Twitter. Lauderdale. "I'm so sorry we couldn't finish out the last few dates of the tour". As such, the band's Tuesday night concert at New Orleans' Smoothie King Center was postponed.
