Earthquake of 5.5 magnitude hits Delhi-NCR, Uttarakhand; epicentre East Dehradun

Strong tremors were felt in Delhi and the National Capital Region at 8:49 pm this evening after a 5.5 magnitude natural disaster struck Uttarakhand. Everything was moving for a while.

"The epicentre of quake was Rudraprayag district in Uttarakhand located at 30.4 degrees north latitude and 79.1 degrees east longitude", the information released by the Indian Meteorological Department said. According to the Meteorological Department, quake was recorded at 8.00 pm in the evening. So far there is no information about the loss of life or property of any kind of quake.
