LiAngelo Ball Opens Up About Time In Chinese Jail

Ball says he hasn't been thanked for the 'patriot' shoes he sent Trump

UCLA basketball player whose father wouldn't thank Trump had no idea what he did was “stupid”

Just recently, Ball's middle son, Liangelo, was the one that brought him into the national spotlight.

"They had a 90-minute window to go walk around an area outside of the hotel", he said.

Back in October, LaVar Ball announced he was pulling his youngest son LaMelo Ball, a rising junior who had played for Chino Hills, out of school with the intention of home-schooling and training the UCLA commit for the next two years. "So basically they're in jail here".

One team that most definitely won't be signing LiAngelo or LaMelo to a deal is the Lithuanian team Lietkabelis Panevezys. Head coach Steve Alford is at right.

"It was disgusting", LiAngelo said about jail on the "TODAY" show. "We only went to UCLA - one and done - to play basketball". LiAngelo, along with the two other UCLA players, was suspended indefinitely upon their return to the United States after the incident, which occurred in Hangzhou while the team was in China for a game.

Air pollution cancels out benefits of exercise
The study found everyone in the park group benefited, with lung capacity improving within an hour and persisting for 24 hours. Blood flow also increased after exercise, with decreases in blood pressure and an increase in heart rate.

UCLA basketball player LiAngelo Ball is surrounded by the media as he leaves Los Angeles International Airport on Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2017.

The players did thank him in a press conference, but LaVar Ball questioned Trump's role in it.

The Bruins are wrapping up a critical four-game homestand that Alford has dubbed "growth week" before they play their only true nonconference road game of the season Saturday at MI.

Asked Tuesday how Ball, who did not appear in a single game for UCLA, projects as an National Basketball Association prospect, Alford said he had "no idea on that". That's the punishment they gave him, now we over here. In light of Ball's latest involvement in dealings with President Donald Trump, I thought I would look more into Ball's antics and figure out whether or not I agree with this reputation, though it's hard not to at this point. LiAngelo Ball explained on the Today Show that "people started taking stuff and me, just not thinking and being with them, I took something too". "Me just not thinking and being with them, I took something too", Ball added. "You know how kids think".

As for the decision to leave UCLA, LiAngelo said his suspension was starting to take toll. Alford said the disciplinary process remains ongoing through the office of student conduct, and he did not have a timeline for when it will be complete.

UnitedHealth to Buy DaVita's Physician Group For $4.9 Billion Cash
This is UnitedHealth's second major purchase of the year after buying Surgical Care Affiliates for about $2.3 billion in March. The acquisition of DaVita would expand that reach considerably.

"Cody and Jalen have done very, very good in what we wanted them to do academically, so all of our communication with them has been good", Alford said. "I'm at the Ostin Center every day working, so if they need to talk, they know where to find me".

Alford's staff reached out to a Ball family representative Monday afternoon after seeing the reports and confirmed that Ball would be leaving school.

He also called Ball "a poor man's version of Don King, but without the hair".

"Why for?" Alford responded. My particular favorite of this shtick is Smith spitting out the word "blasphemy" whenever Ball makes what seems to be an overtly false claim. "I'm at Pauley [Pavilion] every day".
