Bryce Dallas Howard reveals first Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom plot details

Teaser Trailer- 'Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom'

A new short teaser for "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom" was dropped at Sunday Night Football on NBC.

Of course, the first film also sets up B.D. Wong's character, Dr. Wu, as being part of a secret government plot to weaponize dinosaurs, so perhaps that could be part of your expectations for the sequel, as well.

The clip features stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard along with YouTube personality Zach King, best known for his "magic" Vines. Somehow, the sequel to Jurassic World is going in an even crazier direction than building a theme park filled with dinosaurs and being surprised when it all goes wrong. I feel like this loosely referenced the "more teeth" moment we saw in the first Jurassic World where Claire got the epiphany that they needed more teeth to beat Indominus Rex. Although Jurassic World was a direct sequel to Steven Spielberg's 1993 film, Jurassic Park, it was mostly a self-contained story arc that laid the groundwork for future sequels, with Fallen Kingdom being next chapter in the new trilogy. Their mission is "finding a way to get these dinosaurs off the island" as an active volcano threatens to make the animals go extinct, again.

Little is known about the plot of the flick except that writer Colin Trevorrow hinted it will be a "parable for the treatment animals receive today". Alsostarring are Ted Levine, Rafe Spall, Toby Jones, Geraldine Chaplin, and Daniella Pineda. Hopefully they don't bother shoehorning in another romantic story this time around, but concerning how Hollywood that first film is, we think that's unlikely.
