God of War Release Date PS4 Leaked Thanks To PlayStation Network Store

God of War release date leaks on U.S. Play Station Store coming in March

The PlayStation Store is showing a March release date for God of War

March has traditionally been the release month for the series and to back up the leak the US PlayStation briefly listed the game for the same date.

While Sony usually releases big titles on a Tuesday or Friday, March 22 is also the release date of the original God of War from 2005, which might mean that Sony intends to release the new God of War installment on the same day as the original.

God of War is aiming for a new direction, taking on Norse mythology, running with a new voice actor and adding an entirely new gameplay dynamic to the previously thick and fast hack and slash action. If you had your money on a March release then you might just be buying dinner for all of us, as the release date suggests God of War will launch on the 22nd March 2018. Hopefully we'll be able to lock this date down soon. We're definitely due for our Kratos fix.

2018 is looking to be an exciting year for PlayStation 4 owners. It is possible that this is the prelude to the revelation of the release date of God of War.
