Destiny 2's first DLC, Curse of Osiris, is scheduled to launch tomorrow, bringing the first major round of fresh content with it. Bungie has shared a roadmap for tomorrow's launch, and if you're looking to dive in right when the DLC is released, you're going to want to take a look at it. Of course, Bungie has about 15 different things they do each week, and not all at the same time. The update that comes along with this server maintenance will bring Destiny 2 to version 1.1.0, which will be need to be downloaded alongside the DLC before you can play. The Destiny 2 servers will be going offline at 7 AM Pacific and returning at 10 AM Pacific.
Later on in November, Bungie revealed that Heroic Strikes would be making a comeback in the Curse of Osiris DLC expansion, and also gave players a brief glimpse at the revamped Lighthouse, which you can see just below. A free trial was announced last week that allows players to try out the first few hours of gameplay, while a Q&A regarding the state of Destiny 2 would be hosted the following day. Curse of Osiris will be officially released once maintenance concludes. Various platforms have their own way of doing this while you're away from your PC, PS4 or Xbox One, so I can't really help you there.
