Micromax expands its bezel less smartphone range

As the name itself suggests, the Canvas Infinity Pro is a bigger variant of the of the Micromax Canvas Infinity which was launched a couple of months ago.

Micromax Canvas Infinity Pro is the latest addition to the company's newly-found Infinity series, which adds more value and recognition to its portfolio.

The Micromax Canvas Infinity Pro is priced at Rs. 13,999. Micromax has claimed that they are giving consumers a power packed device which is a ideal confluence of an exemplary display, superlative dual cameras at an extremely attractive price. The USP of the smartphone was its Galaxy S8-like infinity display.

The Canvas Infinity Pro is priced at Rs 13,999, and the highlight features of the smartphone include the 5.7-inch 18:9 display and dual selfie cameras. The phone is powered by 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor with 4GB of RAM. The phone is exclusive to Flipkart and it will be available starting midnight of 6th December 2017. A microSD card slot is given for memory expansion (up to 128GB). It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor clubbed with Adreno 505 GPU. This dual-SIM smartphone comes laden with Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box, and Micromax did not reveal any plans for Android Oreo upgrade. It sports a 16-megapixels rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, LED flash and auto HDR. "We truly believe that Infinity Pro is that package and our consumers will be delighted with the pricing as well", said Shubhodhip Pal, Chief Operating Officer, Micromax Informatics, in a statement. The phone has dual camera setup at the front with 20 megapixels sensor and 8 megapixels secondary sensor. We are known to bring revolutionary products within the range of millions of Indians and this is another step in that direction.

On the other hand, the selfie-centric smartphones like Vivo V7 and OPPO F5 are now only offering a single front-facing camera, that too at a higher price tag.

On the battery front, the Micromax Canvas Infinity Pro packs a 3000mAh backup.
