Three salad products sold at Trader Joe's in California have been recalled by the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service, federal safety officials said Saturday.
The recall affects the grocery chain's white meat chicken salad, curried white chicken deli salad, and turkey cranberry apple salad.
The turkey cranberry salads were sold in California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Idaho, Oregon and Washington.

According to the USDA FSIS, the reason for the recall is because the products may be contaminated with hard silica and glass fragments.

Asked whether any information had been shared recently with Saudi Arabia , he said "we are ready to share information if necessary".
Consumers who have purchased these products are urged to not eat them, throw them away, or take them back to the store where they were purchased for a refund.
Trader Joe's said products with other "inspected" codes were not affected because they were created at separate sites.
FSIS has received no reports of injury or illness from consumption of these products.
