Luke Joeckel a possibility to return in week 11

The Seattle Seahawks are signing the free-agent cornerback to a one-year deal, a source tells ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Sherman ruptured his Achilles in Thursday's 22-16 win at Arizona and will have surgery this week that will knock him out for the season.

Friendships and flattery aside, the Falcons and Seahawks will square off next Monday night in a game that could have serious playoff implications down the line for both teams.

Farmers make good corn harvest progress
Meanwhile, the sorghum harvest was at 85 percent complete, compared with 96 percent a year ago and 93 percent on average. Funds hold a large net short position in CBOT corn futures , leaving the market vulnerable to bouts of short-covering.

That'll pave the way for the return of Maxwell, who spent time as a member of the Seahawks from 2011-12 to 2014-15.

The Seattle Seahawks formally announced on Tuesday that the NFC West franchise has placed both cornerback Richard Sherman and running back C.J. After a strong 2016 campaign in Miami, Maxwell was released by the Dolphins in October after battling injuries and poor on-field play in 2017. As a rookie, Prosise posted 172 yards on 30 carries and one touchdown along with 208 yards on 17 receptions.

He has rushed for only 23 yards and added 87 in the passing game this season.

Davis was a fourth-round pick by the San Francisco 49ers in the 2015 NFL Draft.

Coach Pete Carroll said during the preseason that Davis had the ability to be either an early-down back or fill the two-minute/third-down back role that Prosise has typically held (Davis had 70 receptions during his SC career and 10 for 63 yards in his two seasons with the 49ers).
