Sam Allardyce blames Everton hesitancy for ending job interest

Watford have issued a hands off warning to Everton, and will not entertain another approach for manager Marco Silva.

Allardyce was among the forerunners to succeed Ronald Koeman in the vacant Goodison Park hot seat due to his impressive Premier League survival record.

Another target for Everton, former England boss Sam Allardyce, is also reportedly out of the running after he cooled his interest in the position as the club were only willing to give him a short-term deal until the end of the season, with the 63-year-old keen on a long-term contract.

"For me such a long time without a decision (meant) I had to make a decision myself".
