Trump is slated to attend a pair of global summits and meet with Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte. Seen next to Trump are U.S. National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster (R) and U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson (C).

Duterte, 72, emerged from one of the bilateral meetings late Monday and told reporters he was "a bit" exhausted from day-long engagements.

After his performance, Duterte said he sang the song for Trump. He did not elaborate. Speaking to reporters Sunday, Trump said he will make a new announcement on trade when he returns to the United States.

Trudeau: Canada to defend 'mutual interests' of Asean, partners
Trudeau said Indigenous peoples in Canada have suffered "neglect, marginalization and mistreatment" for centuries. They expressed concern over the number of killing in the government's drug war.

He arrived in Manila on Sunday after a brief stop in Vietnam.

The two sides sealed four agreements and agreed to cooperate on counter-terror.

However, Trudeau said that during his conversation with Duterte, he "mentioned human rights, rule of law and specifically extra-judicial killings as being an issue that Canada is concerned with".

Lebanese cardinal arrives in Saudi Arabia to meet Hariri
Once he returns, Aoun tweeted, "we will listen to him about all circumstances, topics and concerns that need addressing". Saudi Arabia has stepped up its rhetoric against Hezbollah and Iran, accusing both of supporting Shiite rebels in Yemen.

Duterte has been a controversial figure since taking office as president previous year, and launching a war on drugs that has killed at least 3,900 people in the Philippines. His government says the police act in self-defense, but critics say executions are taking place with no accountability. Trump has previously praised Duterte's handling of his nation's drug problems.

In a meeting Monday, Trump praised Duterte's hospitality and said nothing about human rights, including the thousands killed in the country's blood drug crackdown.
