The Atlanta Falcons took a step in the right direction with a convincing 27-7 win over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday afternoon.

Freeman, 25, left in the first quarter after being hit by Cowboys linebacker Anthony Hitchens. He suggested that much in a Twitter post on Sunday, saying he could tell Freeman was playing with a concussion during their week 9 matchup. Running back Tevin Coleman replaced Freeman in the backfield. Fortunately for Freeman, he does have some extra time to recover as the Falcons prepare for a Monday Night Football showdown with the Seahawks.
