Russell was examined Sunday by team doctors and underwent an MRI and the Nets said "return to play updates will be provided as appropriate".

Brooklyn Nets guard D'Angelo Russell is expected to miss several games after suffering a left knee injury against the Utah Jazz on Saturday. Russell grimaced as he hobbled to the bench. Now, the Nets will likely be without D'Angelo Russell for a bit. Wojnarowski also reports Russell will undergo further evaluation on the knee.
