Tyler Eifert Reportedly Considering Surgery on Back Injury That Would End Season

Tyler Eifert's comeback year has come to an end.

Bengals TE Tyler Eifert will undergo season-ending back surgery, ESPN's Adam Schefter tweeted Wednesday night. He dealt with another back injury last season after returning from ankle surgery.

The 27-year-old Eifert was selected to the Pro Bowl after reeling in 13 touchdown passes during the 2015 season.

Eifert (back) has been placed on IR by the Bengals.
