Twins Sign Molitor To Contract Extension

The Twins will not have to go looking for a new manager this winter. Molitor is a candidate to win the American League Manager of the Year. They became the first team in Major League Baseball history to make the playoffs after losing more than 100 games the season before.

A deal was expected to be reached last week, in the days after the Twins lost to the Yankees in the Wild Card round of the MLB Postseason. The team's 2016 season led to the dismissal of GM Terry Ryan and the arrival of Falvey and GM Thad Levine.
