South Korea says Moon, Trump plan stronger North Korea sanctions

North Korea fired an intermediate-range missile over Japan, a USA ally, early Thursday morning, which the UN Security Council said was "highly provocative" and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe condemned as threatening to world peace.

Trump's remarks came in response to the latest ballistic missile test conducted by North Korea.

"It is vital that all nations work together to do our utmost to solve that problem", he said.

And Trump tweets that he's asked Moon about "Rocket Man" - an apparent reference to North Korean leader Kim Jong Un (kim jawng oon).

"We will defend our people and our civilization from all who dare to threaten our way of life", Trump said at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland on Friday after Pyongyang conducted its longest-ever test flight of a ballistic missile.
