Oh Hi DISASTER ARTIST Trailer

A24 has shared the first official trailer for The Disaster Artist-James Franco's new movie about the making of Tommy Wiseau's cult film The Room. He's a big movie star.

James Franco, who steps into the Wiseau role, directed The Disaster Artist from a screenplay by Scott Neustadter & Michael H. Weber, based on the book by Greg Sestero and Tom Bissell. Franco looks pretty much pitch ideal and word is he even stayed in character on set for the entire time. We're hoping the movie is as great as the cast.

Irma spins up funnel clouds, tornado in Florida
That risk extended to the coast of Georgia and parts of SC , the hurricane centre said. From there, Irma is expected to continue weakening as it crosses through Florida .

Franco himself plays Tommy, while his brother Dave Franco plays Greg. Dave Franco has the unenviable task of playing the straight man, but he does it well, and he makes for a good audience surrogate. When the two took the stage together after the movie, Franco occasionally slipped back into his Wiseau voice, and if you'd closed your eyes it would have been hard to distinguish the two.

Expect this to be a serious awards season contender.

Sometimes life imitates art, and sometimes art imitates, well, The Room. Rather than exist as the butt of the joke, he decided to make the joke his own.

Filmed like an inspirational biopic about a heartwarming rags-to-riches story, The Disaster Artist will show Wiseau's rise to unconventional fame in the most delightful way it could.
